Can't start machine_agent / db_agent

Hi,

Whe trying to start the machine_agent and db_agent errors are thrown.

See below.

nohup java -jar /{path}/appdynamics/agents/db_agent/db-agent.jar &
[root@hostname machine_agent]# Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassFormatError: com.singularity.ee.agent.dbagent.DBAgent (unrecognized class file version)

OS is redhat 5. 

Please advise, on what to look for. Thanks in advance.!

Hi,

Can you please check the jdk version you are using, are you using lower jvm version, say 1.5 as such if not can you point higher jdk version and start db agent and see how it goes?
