We had exactly the same problem and we found a proxy in the IIS service web.config . Once we removed that proxy everything worked fine.

Open the web.config and search for "default proxy" keyword. If you find it , you may have to remove it. Once that is done, the application will use the default proxy which is defined at the machine level just like the machine agent does.

Hi,

While the .NET team got chance to look into this issue, We would like to check few basic information in Controller UI and logs, Can you please send the screenshots from Controller UI showing the node discovered and screenshot from Settings -> AppDynamics Agents screen

and zipped version of .net agent logs, Also please confirm if the machine agent that comes with .net agent installation from same .net agent instance is reporting fine in controller UI or not? We assume no proxy settings are in place in web.config or any file as such.

Also please attach domain.xml at path <Controller_install_dir>/appserver/glassfish/domains/domain1/config for our review

Regards,

Arun
