Can I view x-www-form-urlencoded values from a POST request?

Shane_Courtrill
Explorer

Our application uses x-www-form-urlencoded type for calling a web service an ajax POST.  The data from this request is encoded in the request body but I need to access it.  So two questions:

1) Can I see this at all when in a drill down?

2) Can I access it for Business Tranasction Detection?

Hi,

Can you see if using http data collectors and configuring HTTP collectors form controller UI under configure -> instrumentation -> diagnostic data collecotrs helps here the http params data will be part of business transaction snapshots hope that is what you are looking for https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO40/Configure+Data+Collectors#ConfigureDataCollectors-configu...

Let us know , If you are looking for Business transaction naming when particular POST parameter exists or particular post parameter value matches for which we might need to test the behavior in test environment using particular node property.

Regards,

Arun
