Hello!

What means percent value in app agent status column? Now for almost all agents this value is below 100%. See attached screenshot.

Hi,

The % under "App Agent status" refers to % of time the app agent (server with agent) have been reporting to controller successfully for the time period selected as highlighted in screenshot attached.

In reference to screenshot provided agent is up around 95% of time in the time range you have selected , say if it is last 1 hour, then it means agent is reporting for last 57 minutes in total for the time trend selected.

Please let us know if you have any queries.

Thanks,

Santosh

Hi Santosh,

Is it possible to use this "metric" in a custom dashboard? If it is can you advise where to locate this metric?

We would like to use this in an overall availability status dashboard.

Your help will be appreciated,

Nic

Santosh - did you ever find an answer to this?  I have the same question regarding application availability and being able to show an applications availability metric in the metric browser or a dashboard.  It seems this view app servers health page shows what I need.

Hi,

not sure if you ever got an answer to this but there is the location of metric

For Java App Agent

Application Infrastructure Performance|Tier_Name|Individual Nodes|Node_Name|Agent|App|Availability

For Machine Agent

Application Infrastructure Performance|Tier_Name|Individual Nodes|Node_Name|Agent|Machine|Availability

Thanks

Hello,

II'm facing the same issue. I've applied on this custom metric only. Now when agent is down its neither shooting any mail nor alarms a health violation.

Regards,

Ankur
