Analytics agent doesn't work

Hi,

Analytics agent doesn't start because of the PID issue and it still doesn't work even after the PID was deleted and the process had been restarted.. 

"java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to create file [C:\Standalone\monitors\analytics-agent\analytics-agent.id] to store the process id because it already exists. Please stop any currently running process and delete the process id file"

I get this error coming repetively. Can somebody solve this?

Hari,

Are you sure that it was deleted/removed from the below location.

C:\Standalone\monitors\analytics-agent\analytics-agent.id

Can you verify again if this file exists in the above location.

You can share the analytic-agents logs to review it further if the file doesn't exist
