splunk excel app unable to find flashtime_excel view

After installing splunk excel app, I can access it as admin or power user. But when I try to use a a normal user from App->Splunk>Excel Export tab, it throws error "Splunk cannot find the "flashtimeline_excel" view."

I done a work around by copying the flashtimeline_excel file to /opt/splunk/etc/apps/search/default/data/ui/views/flashtimeline_excel.xml and then accessing by
"https://splunkserver:8000/en-GB/app/search/flashtimeline_excel"

Is there any other way so that users are able to access the excel export from App->splunk->excel tab ( URL: https://splunkserver:8000/en-GB/app/excel_export/flashtimeline_excel )

Got this fixed by allowing everyone Read/write in Manager->All Configurations->flashtimeline_excel->Permissions
