Why did the Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP stop collecting or forwarding data after upgrading Splunk from 6.1.4 to 6.2.1?

Hello Splunk Team,

we have just upgraded our distributed Splunk installation from version 6.1.4 to 6.2.1 and ran into some trouble.

We're using the "NetApp Data ONTAP" app but the app stopped collecting or forwarding data. The credentials are proved and validated (We had to validate them again after the upgrade)

Do you have an idea or or a hint?

Thank you very much,

Simon Maas (DextraData)

Hi,

Something like

index=_internal (source=*netapp* OR source=*hydra*) ERROR

might indicate the issue.

Hello jcoates,

thanks for your answer. We've solved the problem in the mean time by a fresh installation of Splunk 6.2.1. Seems like something is gone wrong with the update procedure.

Greetings,
Simon Maas
