When I upgrade Salesforce add-on from v2.0 to v 3.0 I get the following message: Unable to initialize modular input "sfdc_object" defined inside the app "Splunk_TA_salesforce": Introspecting scheme=sfdc_object: script running failed (exited with code 1).

v2 worked without any issues but when I tried to upgrade it to v3 the app page in the heavy forwarder sits with a "loading" indicator.
I am also running Splunk version 7.2.6

Looking at the internal logs I see the following:
