What kind of inputs.conf configuratiuon do I need in order to receive the data from chef?

I didn't find a decent documentation of what kind of input do I need for this app on a heavy forwarder? Is it a tcp input?

Hi,

Reviewing the doc, the events are send to splunk via API, thats the reason that you have to configure the Chef application with the user,password and port 8089 of your splunk.
