Did any body install the VMware app on a Windows search head and tried to use it? Setting it up was easy but the lookup stuff has a bug which crushes splunk frequently(found about it from this link http://splunk-base.splunk.com/answers/53230/vmware-app-scheduled-searches-are-crashing. I have looked all my configurations and I couldn't find anything that should cause this issue unless it is a bug with the instance itself.
Anyone tried the app on Linux search head?
