VMware app: IE9 shows column charts instead of gauge charts for home_proactive_monitoring view

I'm using Splunk for VMware app 2.0 on IE9. I noticed that the home view (home_proactive_monitoring) is showing column charts for Virtual Machine Health and Host System Health. And there is empty for Datastore Information.

The same build and version of IE on my colleague does not have this issue. He can see the pretty gauge charts without problem. I tried disabling Security options and reset to default for Internet Options. But, this did not help.

IE has View modes. If you're using "Internet Explorer 9 Compatibility" view, the charts will become column view. If you use "Internet Explorer 9" view mode, you can see gauge charts.

At this point, I noticed that IE8 cannot show no charts with "Internet Explorer 8" View mode. If "Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility" mode, ugly column charts will be displayed. Maybe IE8 limitation?

The dev. team said IE8 is not supported and it has the same issue. It is because IE8 limitation.
