Unable to "Create" a report in AfterGlow

I recently installed AfterGlow and, while it's generally working, I have a few odd behaviors I'm noticing.

When I create a search that I want to keep, I can't use the drop-down to "Create" a "Report." I can click "Create" and select "Dashboard panel..." from the drop down and it takes me through the little wizard. When I click "Create" then "Report" it simply does nothing. No pop up, no warnings, no errors, nothing happens at all except the "Create" menu closes.

Possibly related, when I create a dashboard panel I do not get the ability to select any sort of Afterglow related visualization. I only get the standard list of Table, (Event Listing greyed out), Bar, Area, Column, etc...

Am I overlooking some item? Or am I missing some item entirely?

I restarted the server entirely - not just the splunk services - and this seemed to clear up all weird behavior.
