Hi Guys-
I've recently moved to a Splunk development company after being a teacher in the public school system here in NJ. My main responsibility is to bring Splunk to the K12 public school system. I have tons of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school. So I wanted to know if anyone had any advice or information that applies to Splunk being used in the public school sector either on the school, district, or state level.
What functions and solutions could Splunk provide on a school level ? What functions and solutions could Splunk provide on a district level ? What functions and solutions could Splunk provide on a state edu level ?
THX
Mike
Joe Welsh,
I saw your reply regarding you proposed blog series about k-12 and I'm looking for links to that blog. Can you help? I've recently become interested in Splunk use in K-12.
Thanks
Robert

Hope this helps?
Thanks!
Hi Mike,
There are many different Splunk K-12 initiatives around the country. I presented a K-12 webinar for Carahsoft in the fall - it only scrapes the surface of what is possible:
Splunk's App for Stream can also provide incredible value to educational institutions, particularly around analyzing network performance for standardized tests. Here's a link to an amazing webinar lead by the incredible Splunker Bert Hayes:
I'm in the process of a multi-blog series about Splunk, K-12, and standardized test administration so stay tuned.
Hope this helps.
