Splunk Dashboards app installation on search heads cluster (shc)?

what is the correct way to install "Splunk Dashboards app (beta)" : https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/4710/ on SHC? Is it OK to use shcluster/deployer?

Hi @splunkreal,

on a SHC you can install Apps only using the Deployer, there isn't another way.

as you can see here https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DashApp/latest/DashApp/Install  To install the app in distributed environments, see "Use the deployer to distribute apps and configuration updates" (https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.2.0/DistSearch/PropagateSHCconfigurationchanges)  in the Splunk Enterprise Distributed Search manual.
