We have everything configured per documentation on Splunk and AWS side. We have verified we are writing to the log streams in AWS, and that the role has adequate permissions, however, we are unable to retrieve any data from AWS for the flow logs being monitored. The other dashboards work fine.

Just deployed the app today, and this was true for me also. Give the app at least 3 hours before starting the troubleshooting process.
If you don't mind can you share your exact configuration? I am having same issue. I can see VPC FLOW LOGS in AWS - I also have checked about user, permissions, Role and Policy - they all seem correct. However I am not getting any VPC Flow Logs in Splunk AWS application
