Splunk Add-on for Box not working

I'm trying to configure the Splunk Add-on for Box (V1.2.0). I'm running Splunk 7.1.2 on my local Windows 10 machine. First I turned on SSL and entered the basic add-on information:
OAuth Client ID, Client Secret on the Splunk Side, and https://localhost:8000 as the redirect URI on the Box side. The first authentication step worked, and I was brought to the Box Grant Access Page. I clicked "Grant Access to Box" with my credentials, and after spinning for about a minute I was brought back to Splunk but it was unresponsive and eventually error'd out with: "Failed to grant access. I repeated this several times with the same result: Splunk hanging and then failing with "Failed to grant access".

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had this working on Windows but once i upgraded Splunk Enterprise to 7.0 and now 7.1, it stopped working. Will anyone be upgrading this app to comply with the latest Splunk?

I should say that i had the "Box app for Splunk" working on windows until i upgraded to 7.x. The Add-On never worked since it runs on Linux only... 😞

Per the documentation, the add-on supports only Linux for your data collection node. http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/AddOns/released/Box/Hardwareandsoftwarerequirements
