Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics: Do I need to make any changes at AppD end as well to get the AppD events in Splunk?

Hi Team,

I am using Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics to get Appd events into Splunk. However, after adding the input and filling all the required details, am still unable to see AppD events in Splunk. Do we need to make any changes at AppD end as well to get the AppD events in Splunk?

Please confirm.

Issue got resolved after making changes in the AppD Collector URL * field, earlier it was AppD Collector URL *
earlier it was : http://appdynamics-abc:8090/controller
now : http://appdynamics-abc:8090

I tried the same thing but it did not work for me. I was trying to play around with the splunk instance provided for trial. Can that be the cause of the issue?
