If you receive this error message, do a copy from apps/search to apps/jbosslogs and it will resolve the error:
cp /opt/splunk/etc/apps/search/appserver/static/pdf_header.html
/opt/splunk/etc/apps/jbosslogs/appserver/static/pdf_header.html

rroberts - You can make the change under $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/pdfserver/bin/pdfhandler.py.
