Monitoring JVM with PID (Without serviceURL)

Hello,
We're trying to monitor JVM - at this stage we don't know the service URL etc. (or) to connect via JConsole. Hence, in the config.xml of the JMX app, we hardcoded the PID but we see an error

jvmDescription=OEM JVM, processID=15722,stanza=jmx://JVM,systemErrorMessage="Not owner"

Any pointers appreciated.

Kind regards

Does the user you are running Splunk as have sufficient permissions for that target JVM process ?
