Metrics and Home empty on the unix app

i have all the data in the indexes and source types, i can preview them as well.
i added the hosts into groups/categories for testing
i do see on "hosts" random data for i/o and disk, but not for cpu and memory.
and "metrics" "home" are blank

any idea why these are blank while i have all the data..

all this got fixed once i copied the default props.conf file with required stanzas to local folder..

i also get message on "hosts" : CPU: unknown - is cpu.sh enabled?
