InvalidURLException: Illegal characters in URL

I see this error as soon as I login to splunkweb, what's wrong?

It is most likely that there is a view name with invalid characters. Look in the etc/apps/< app >/default|local/data/ui for file names with space, ~ etc. For example: Copy of Accounts.xml

and why would this show up in the alert of a saved search?
ie:
Link to Result: Blablabla

But when trying to follow the link, it gives the InvalidURLException: Illegal characters in URL error..

This is happening on 4.1.3.

Also, can this problem be triggered in 4.1.3?

Note that there could be other causes, but this is certainly the one that customers have already reported.
