I've used this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRfVBEjocSM to configure the Netscaler appflow settings. I'm resiving syslog on the Splunkserver but I'm not able to connect IPFIX and the Netscaler. I'm not able to upload an image beacuse I alck carmapoints but this is the message I get in IPFIX. "Encountered the following error while trying to update: In handler 'ipfix': Parameter port: UDP port 4739 is not available"
According to the networkteam the firewall is open for this traffic. Does this port have to be enabled somewhere on the Netscaler? The port is listening on the Splunkserver.
The problem is the fact that the port is already listening, but the IPFIX collector needs to listen on that port. You'd have to figure out what else was listening and disable that.
