How to configure Splunk App for Jenkins for a Heavy Forwarder to Splunk Cloud?

We have a number of separate environments each of which has Jenkins servers and a Splunk Heavy Forwarder that is sending events to Splunk Cloud. The docs don't mentioned HTTP token creation and there isn't one created by the App install in Splunk Cloud.

I think that for each environment I need to create a new HTTP Event Collector token on the heavy forwarder and configure Jenkins plug-in to send to that HF. Given that the Jenkins indexes are all created in Splunk Cloud is that all I need to do? Do I need Splunk App for Jenkins on the HF too?
