Is it possible by hovering over 'user' to have all instances of that user to be highlighted inside the chart?
Sort of like all other Splunk charts work where you hover over "... by" dimension and have all instances of that dimension to get highlighted inside the chart and all others would be grayed out?
Thank much for your great work in adjusting Guntt to Splunk.
Hi @gesman,
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. If you hover over a user (in the demo example) in the legend, you'll get all instances of that user highlighted. If what you want is to highlight every other instance of that user when you hover over one instance, then you should define the configuration item highlightField as 'user' (or the name of the field containing the user name). Does that help?
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,
apparently it worked!
Even though I updated an app and restarted Splunk - it wouldn't highlight anything - my guess is that because of CSS or JS caching within the browser. Browsers are notoriously getting more and more stubborn in complying with requests to reload everything afresh.
So now it all works for me, thanks much!
