Has anybody gotten Splunk App for Web Analytics to read AWS CloudFront Logs?

Really like Splunk App for Web Analytics but thought I would see if anybody has figured out how to get it to read AWS cloudfront logs.

Thanks

Hi Chris

I see no reason why it should not work with some minor tweaks. You need to make sure that the fields are mapped correctly to the same field names in the app. The app predominantly uses CIM and the Web data model. As the Add-on for AWS is already CIM compliant I think it should be working mostly out of the box.

Try and add the AWS sourcetype to the eventttype definition that we use in the Web Analytics app. There are some basic instruction on how to do that on the Documentation page inside the app.

Let me know how you get along.
