Does the Virustotal Checker app have a option to place proxy settings in it?

We have the Domaintools add-in on our ES box and within the app you can add proxy settings for the app to call out to the internet. Does this app have similar options? I would like to not have the settings set server wide and only store it within the app. If it can be added with from the command line that should not be an issue.

Hi,
You can apply the proxy option at 'Manage Apps'-'Virustotal Checker'-'Setup' menu on Splunk Web.

I've reviewed the source and it uses a simple urllib2 connect https://www.virustotal.com/en/search/ and does not handle proxies.. You would have to contact KIM DONG WOO to implement a proxy feature.
