Hi All,

I have gone though all the answers and done all required changes in config but nothing will happend.
Finally, I use below steps to reslove this issue.

  1. Backup your files, if exist, ex: db_input.conf and drivers
  2. Stop splunk. Remove db_connect app from app folder.
  3. Restart Splunk.
  4. Upgrade your splunk with just new version.
  5. install > db connect app

check your db it will be okay now.

Happy Splunking !..

Can you check, is there any error in _internal logs? Try searching index=_internal sourcetype=dbx*.

Hi,

Have you tried changing the port to which RPC service binds? Please find the below link: https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DBX/3.1.3/DeployDBX/Troubleshooting

Thank You.

Hi

Thank you for your answer. But I didn`t find how to fix this problem in the link.

I find the rpc port is 1866. And I tried 1866 port. The same result.

[root@sw-8c16g1t-1-new certs]# netstat -an | grep "rpc"
unix 2 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 1866 /var/run/rpcbind.sock
