DB Connect: defining indexer

While configuring a data input in DBConnect, when I get to the part asking what index, it only shows me the list of the local indexes. How do I tell it what indexer it should be looking at and ultimately sending data to.

If you install the indexes.conf file from you indexer(s) on your search head(s) then the SH will know what all of the indexes are.

If your indexers are on the same splunk Enterprise setup you should get the indexers in that list. If your Enterprise splunkbwhere dbconnecr is installed is an heavy forwarder, You can manually enter the indexer you want this data to go.
