Can I customize the incident_id field value in the Alert Manager app?

Currently, the incident_id field is automatically populated with a long string of random characters, like this:

6efc7c5a-9b9-4746-a158-c7c86d2ff836

Is it possible to set this value, either automatically or manually, to something more meaningful for tacking purposes, like this:

2016-0001

I'm afraid this is currently not supported. However, I just filed an enhancement request here:
https://github.com/simcen/alert_manager/issues/127
We'll qualify that and decide if it's getting implemented.
