current Splunk Fundamental 1 (splunk User) exam is for v 7.x so you can give now and you don't need to wait.&lt;BR /&gt;
The candidate who holds out-of-date legacy certification  (&lt;STRONG&gt;V6.3 or older&lt;/STRONG&gt;) are required to complete the full certification track / recertification.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It said on the details page all v6 will not be grandfathered when the new platform comes in september. Should I take this now or will v7 also not be grandfathered?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
