Hello,

Create tokens related to the drop downs by populating searches and you can call the token I side tags.

Docs: search for token usage in splunk docs.

Example, let's say I have a token called $username$ defined. I can call that token from the html code.

$username $

Hope this helps,
Thanks,

For some custom UI improvement, I need to arrange Splunk input elements in a certain way, e.g. align them horizontally... so I created an html table and can put drop-downs in there, but I couldn't find a way to put a Splunk element inside an html element. How is that possible?

What I was hoping is something like this:

xyy

<splunk>
<input ...
</splunk>
