Easier to Hard,

when you click on edit dashboard, you can add a timepicker for your dashboard.

if what you need is really that green button(timeline), good luck with Splunk-JS which shouldn't be something really hard.

Hi all, if I execute a search on a particular source and get the results with a timechart on the search page, but then I save that search and put it on a dashboard, I lose the timeline. Is there any where to replicate the same timechart on the dashboard.

Are you talking about the timeline (green histogram on top) or a timechart (graph plotting counts, sums, averages, etc. over time)?
