topic How to change app to use default search UI on Splunk 6? in Splunk Search

We upgraded from Splunk 4.3.5 to 6 and I would like to update an app to use the new UI search. There were no other customizations done, I just want it to use the new default interface. This is probably simply updating a config file somewhere.

Copying the default.xml from
apps/search/default/data/ui/nav
to
apps/APP_NAME/default/data/ui/nav
accomplished what I wanted.
