      <description>&lt;P&gt;Congrats on this great major release !&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Are there any plans to introduce &lt;A href="http://mbostock.github.io/protovis/ex/horizon.html"&gt;horizon charts&lt;/A&gt;(similar to sparklines but not quite the same) (also &lt;A href="http://www.perceptualedge.com/blog/?p=390"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;) visualization?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
There are some cases where the number of series is just to big to fit in a multiline chart without turning it into a train wreck (and splitting them into several charts forces the Dashboard to become bigger and bigger).&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;It would be quite a welcome addition.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We use Horizon charts (aka Cubism) in the new &lt;A href="http://apps.splunk.com/app/273/"&gt;Unix&lt;/A&gt; app's alerts view.  If you click on a fired alert in the view's results table, you can see CPU rendered as a horizon chart.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;One of the problems we have found with horizon charts is that people don't get them until they read about them or someone explains how they work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;This is a good case for our Custom Table Cell Renderers.  If you look at &lt;A href="http://apps.splunk.com/app/1603"&gt;Splunk 6.0 Dashboard Examples app&lt;/A&gt; there is an example on using the cell renderers.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
