      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, not entirely true - you can override the values of index-time extractions for the duration of a search (see below), but once an event is stored in an index, it cannot be altered &lt;STRONG&gt;on disk&lt;/STRONG&gt; by search time operations.&lt;/P&gt;
