&lt;P&gt;I think not ..... but if you just want to know if your log has been indexed by splunk you can check/search for &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;CODE&gt; `index=_internal TailingProcessor`
&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;

&lt;P&gt;and see what events are listed for your file.&lt;BR /&gt;
Or you use Amrit's &lt;A href="http://blogs.splunk.com/2011/01/02/did-i-miss-christmas-2/"&gt;did-i-miss-christmas&lt;/A&gt; script &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
