You can put specific strings with quotes like&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;sourcetype=x "string"|..../sourcetype=x NOT "string"|....
&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;

&lt;P&gt;this will give you the events containing/not with the string.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Or you can go for match/searchmatch in eval&lt;/P&gt;
