    <description>&lt;P&gt;The Java variable path needs to point to the parent of the bin that contains the server folder.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
For example with JDK7 c:\program files\java\jdk1.7.0_25\jre.  If you point it to c:\program files\java\jdk1.7.0_25 then the bridge server will not run.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The log to check for bridge server errors is splunk\var\log\splunk\jbridge.log&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
Tail this log when you restart Splunk, or when you manually kill java and open DB Connect.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Have installed Jdk 7 , also environmental variables are defined properly.&lt;BR /&gt;
What are possibilities for java bridge not running ?&lt;/P&gt;
