If you provide a segment of your SimpleXML with the values/fields you want to use, I can post a response with valid XML you can use.

Hi All,

Suppose i have a dashboard containing dropdown and in dropdown i have 3 values A,B,C . When i select A or B
average response time trend and stats are displayed .

But for C I dont want these stats to be displayed instead i want to display cpu usage for C when its selected .

How to achieve this?? or how to do this??

Hi shabdadev!

You can use tokens to pass variables to other drop downs, see in depth detail here:

http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Viz/tokens

Or check out the Splunk dashboard examples app:

https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1603/

The "Cascading From Input" would probably be an example that will get you what you are trying to do.
