    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am trying out evaluation version of Splunk and would like to produce a html export ( as per the suggestion in the manual ) but the option does not seem to be available to me. Any Ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;D'oh.   It looks like that is just a mistake in the user manual. &lt;P&gt;but Splunk does not have a facility to export events or results to HTML. &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You can export to csv, text, xml and json. And if you're handy with either a good shell or a good text-editor,  you can probably bend the XML output to your will pretty quickly.  &lt;/P&gt;</description>
