Is there a way to export the splunk dashboard to another splunk instance?

Hi @makrem86,

Are you working on a local instance ?
If yes you can find your the xml file of your dashboard here :

$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/YourApp/local/data/ui/views/

If you don't find your dahsboard here, don't forget to change the permission of your dashboard to "App" or "Global" and check again.

You can put this file on your new instance of Splunk

If its just one dashboard you can get away with editing the dashboard as xml in splunk's GUI and copy+paste it to the other instance.
