&lt;P&gt;This is achieved rather easily with Splunk's &lt;CODE&gt;rangemap&lt;/CODE&gt; search command and the &lt;CODE&gt;SingleValue&lt;/CODE&gt; module.  Johnvey has a real good answer to a similar question here:&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Chart background color based on condition</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Is there a way how I could change background color of chart based on values being loaded into it? The point is basically monitoring. If values are good, chart will be standard. If values show an error, background of graph would change to red or whatever color chosen.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Am I too crazy or it is possible to do something like this? Advanced charting is expected.&lt;/P&gt;
