advanced Xml charting

Hi all ,

I want to create the dashboard in which there should be a dropdown with all index's in my splunk server and if I select any one of the items in the dropdown, i want to view the log files in that index.

So after selecting one of the log files I want to see the trendchart please help.

I would start by creating a simple view that runs a search on load that pulls splunk and gets the list of indexes back, I would then use that list to populate a search and have the search when the drop down is changed

I found that most of the stuff breaks that uses latest instead of teh release number in the URL path
