help on splunk app interface configuration

hello

I use a splunk app with many different dashboards and I have 2 imporvement to do

1) I need to put an icon after the name of my app

Except if I am mistaken I put the icon file in the static folder but what I have to do for displaying the icon after the app name?

2) I need to open a PDF file from my dashboard

The PDF is located in the "Static" folder and the "KM" directory

Exemple : etc/apps/workplace/static/KM/TEST.pdf

But I can't open it

What is the correct path to use please?

about the first question see at https://dev.splunk.com/enterprise/docs/developapps/createapps/ how to configure App icons.

About the second, did you checked grants?

Hi @jip31,

concerning the first issue:

are you sure that you used the correct names of the logos (appIcon.png, appLogo.png, etc...) and the correct max dimensions of each one (e.g. appicon.png max 40x40 points)?

about the secon one:

I'm still verifying and I found a problem, I'll inform you.

I have resolved the first issue, it was file name issue...

But the second still exist
