How can I fix the broken visualization icons, thumbnails that show the different graph styles, in Splunk Enterprise?

So sorry to ask this. When in Splunk Enterprise and using a search that produces some statistical output that can be visualized I go to the "Visualization" tab and when the button for "select visualization" is selected a window opens with broken icons. The upside is that the broken icons can still be selected and change the data visualization. How to fix the broken icons?
I tried uninstalling all the splunk files and getting another download of splunk. That was the extent of my experience.

I've seen other types of icons not display without restarting Splunk itself. Have you tried restarting Splunk? Which version of Splunk are you using, have you tried other another version?
