topic Use same Token for different panels in Dashboards & Visualizations

I would like to use a certain token for multiple panels within a dashboard without them providing the same results. For example I want to use a token for "Scan Dates" on multiple panels to compare dates, however each time I change a search all the panels sync up for the same search. Is there a way to remove that sync so I could use different searches per panel for the same dashboard?

No, this is not something that will work. Give each token a prefix for the panel it is on - P1ScanDates, P2ScanDates and so on. That way, you are being explicit that the two items are not related in the form code or the search code.

Doing what you are asking, even if it were technologically possible, would just open up a vast number of other headaches for you.
