Good day Splunkers,

I would like to ask how can I add a Search Progress bar/indicator to my dashboard if I am using web framework (django). Is there an available django tag to make the indicator appear or a javascript code to be used or follow? This is needed for the users of the dashboard so that they would identify if the searches are still populating my charts/tables.

In advancedxml there's a module that is easily be used to achieve this, that was I was using in the past. Hope you can share your procedures in making it achieve in a django/javascript view. It would be a great help.

Thanks

Hi crt89,

Have you tried the searchcontrols view? It has a built in progress bar.
