well I've been having some bizarre behaviour with some emails lately. I think it might just be my system playing up but it keeps cutting emails out of conversation chains for no reason 😞

Hi, I am facing a problem where I am not receiving All the email alerts. This looks quite random as some day I am missing some email alerts and other day I am missing different email alerts. When i check the python.log, it tends to indicate that All the alerts were sent "INFO Sending email. subject="Splunk Alert: ". Any idea what could be causing this random email issue?
Thanks.

If Splunk is reporting that they have been sent have you checked junk folders, filter settings etc?

Also it may be worth doing a filtered packet capture to see exactly what emails are being sent just to be sure where the problem lies.

Hi Drainy, I have checked the junk folders and they are not there. Considering the same email alert is received some days and not received other days, I suppose it is not affected by filter settings. I will try the packet capture and see what i get there.
