    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have installed every lib functions , perl scripts on one of the linux servers decalred env variable as well but still can not get the nmon performance data for cpu and memory on the server.&lt;BR /&gt;Could any one assist or help on this topic also didnt find any relevant error in splunkd.logs.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What is the "performance issue" mentioned in the subject?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The easiest way to get performance metrics from a Linux box is to install a Universal Forwarder with the Splunk Add-on For Unix and Linux app.&amp;nbsp; The app contains many inputs, including several relating to performance.&amp;nbsp; Enable the ones you need and restart the UF.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
