Hello guys,

We just released a tutorial and a script to add push notifications to Splunk through NMA.

You can find it here: www.notifymyandroid.com/splunk.jsp

The current solution uses the "Run Script" feature of Splunk when you create a search. My question is, does the current Splunk framework allows for 3rd party apps/plugins to add field on that search form, to just show a check box like "Enable push notifications", and then when an alert is triggered it also calls our plugin internally?

Thank you, and let me know if I wasn't clear enough on the question.

No, the current version of that page is not customizable by external frameworks.

This is a good example of an opportunity to file an enhancement request -
